I lead business development at Clearlink, forging strategic partnerships that leverage the expanded capabilities of our best-in-class sales, marketing, martech, and data science teams. Prior to joining Clearlink, I was a successful marketing executive and founder of buyCalls, a performance-based marketing agency that was acquired by Clearlink in 2016. I started buyCalls with a focus on creating great relationships – with our partners and with each other. I believe that synergistic and productive relationships lead to success by engendering creative thinking and driving new business opportunities.

Outside the office, I combine my keen interest in running with my passion for community engagement through the Sandhills Race Series – a charity I founded with my wife Kate to raise funds for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sandhills in North Carolina. Kate and I are blessed with two children with curious minds, adventurous hearts, and good packing skills, and travel is a favorite family pursuit. If we’re not on the road exploring, we’re probably already planning our next trip.

I graduated from the University of St. Thomas (MN) with degrees in Marketing & Business Communications and earned my MBA from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.

As the SVP-BizDev, I lead Clearlink’s business development efforts in the identification, evaluation, and structuring of prospective partnerships. Internally, I work to identify new synergies and expand existing parent/sister company relationships.

As part of the Integrated Solutions Team, I represent Clearlink’s vision on business strategy and business development, interacting with current and prospective partners to evaluate new projects and leverage Clearlink’s strategic capabilities. With Clearlink’s sales, marketing, technology , and data science teams on their side, our partners can identify new opportunities, provide a better customer experience, and drive greater short and long term success.

At Trident, I managed six media divisions and oversaw the marketing for multiple business units, leveraging marketing and technology to deliver profitable customer acquisition for owned and partnered brands. Trident Marketing has over 20 years experience in direct response marketing and sales, providing its brands a foundation built on human capital, technological expertise, and strategic innovation.

Under the Travel Resorts of America brand, Trident possesses one of the leading sales organizations in the RV industry and has successfully marketed memberships at both low and high price points. Travel Resorts has been in the top 2% of affiliated resorts for the past 12 years.

The Direct Sat TV brand expands upon these successes through a nationally recognized dealership for DIRECTV. Direct Sat TV has grown to become the 2nd largest of over 4,200 dealerships nationwide, and is considered a key strategic partner for DIRECTV’s future growth. In 2008, Direct Sat TV was named “DIRECTV Dealer of the Year.”

In 2009 Trident Marketing was named to the INC 5000 list of America’s Fastest Growing Companies for its performance from 2005-2008.
